Rapunzel’s mum had some intense cravings for Rapunzel leaves when pregnant with her, and so her dad had to steal a few from bad Mother Gothel’s garden to meet her needs. Bad move. He’s caught and Mother Gothel agrees to give the leaves in exchange for the baby, and he actually agrees!
Mother Gothel keeps her in a tower, her hair growing by the day. A prince hears her lovely singing one day and together, the prince and Rapunzel eventually win her freedom!
