Lovely Princess Aurora is cursed at birth by Maleficent, a jealous and evil witch, to die on her sixteenth birthday. The good fairies, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather manage to downgrade this curse to a sleep that can only be broken by true love’s first kiss.
The fairies take her to the safety of the woods and give her a new name, Briar Rose. Briar Rose meets Prince Philip one day and they fall in love before she nods off and becomes Sleeping Beauty. After some meddling by Maleficent, Prince Philip finally gives her a peck and up she gets!
